People centered, permaculture education, is one of the best ways to empower people to take control of their own life again, and it is especially so for refugees too. For this reason education is the most important service that we are offering.
We accept teaching engagements in refugee/IDP camps, communities hosting refugee/migrants populations as well as offering our experience to permaculturists who are willing to get involved in this area of expertise.
We think that it is especially important to train not just refugees or displaced people but also camp managers, I/NGOs personnel working with refugees and the local population, in order to offer equal opportunities or even local politicians to make them aware of what is possible so that they can make informed decisions.
We offer a number of training packages to cater for each specific needs. From the more traditional and internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate course, to specific training modules addressing specific situations, such as water management, local/family food production, etc.
Please get in touch if you want to know more.
